There are certain rules for court. Most have the public gallery that you may sit in to watch the proceedings. This is unless the matter is particularly nasty or for a high profile person then the magistrate may close the court to the public. The court has a list of names and charges usually in the foyer on the day the number that you quoted is the case number at court so in 2008 there has been 3561 cases within that court. I don't know if you can find out the information about the court speak to the court staff they may help youWhat is the protocol for observing district court cases?
Courts are open to the public however at the begining of the case if the judge says that he is closing the session because it could be a complicated, with special circumstances then you will have to leave but I study paralegal and I have gone to many cases to help me understand the legal system I would ask the county clerks office at the court house so you no which ones are open sessions
in the US the courts are open to the public you can come and go as you please
