I was threatened to be summoned to the children's court for drinking in public underage then showing a fake id then them realizing, i showed my real one after that. i think the officers just did this to scare me but i'm not sure. i have recieved one caution 3 years ago.What are the lowest and least serious cases heard in the childrens court in Victoria, Australia?
if your previous offence is not the same as the new offences, then you may still be cautioned provided you were forthcoming during interview and showed remorse for your actions. The children's court hears ANY and ALL cases involving children.


Not sure about VIC but in NSW they could not take you to court for underage drinking, however, with the fake ID- they are more likely to go after the person who made the ID than you.


You will most likely only be asked to provide evidence if they try and prosecute the maker of the ID. However if you refuse to help them- that is when you could be changed for obstruction of justice.
