Are there any cases/ news articles of pensioners who cant grow plants but wish to?

I need to do an assignement for school and i need to know if there are any news articles or any of anyones stories whic tell of pensioners wanting to grow plants but not being able to as they cannot physically care for them? Are there any cases/ news articles of pensioners who cant grow plants but wish to?
if you are wanting to help an older person in their garden look around your neighborhood and make friends with them then you will find someone to help all of us as we get older can do less then beforeAre there any cases/ news articles of pensioners who cant grow plants but wish to?
This is a tricky one. I don't think you'll be able to find any references to it. If a person is infirm and cannot look after their plants, the chances are that someone will be around to do it for them. Friends, neighbours, family. Can you speak to your teacher and ask for another assignment - one where there are references available?
you could try the thrive web site http://www.thrive.org.uk/how-we-can-help鈥?/a>

it's a charity that support disabled people who want to garden with tips ideas for toots etc.

i think there is another charity who come round and help people in their own gardens, but I've forgotten who.

does this help?
Why not take it from the angle of pensioners living in something like high rise flats? Could grown some select plants but not even the types that could be grown with just an outside balcony.
Pensions are paid from age 65. You are referring to infirm people of advanced age. Old Mrs. Hindle cannot move but still grows creeping house plants wound round her leg. Waters them too.
I've heard of older people being busted for growing cannabis plants.
...does that include people like me who can kill silk plants?
