Is there a way to get hair dye out of pillow cases?

My husband got his hair colored and, after washing it, went to bed with his hair wet later that night. In the morning there were dark spots all over the pillowcase? Is it a lost cause? Is there a way to get hair dye out of pillow cases?
Take er to da cleanersIs there a way to get hair dye out of pillow cases?
Hope you didn't pay to much for them. My experience with Rit dry remover is that is takes all color out. Hubby either needs to dry is head before he gets in bed or lay an old towel over the pillow case
You can try Rit Color Remover. May want to try a small spot to check if it takes the original color out of pillowcase.
Probably is a lost cause. I know this sounds weird but, spray it down with hairspray and then wash it. Hairspray is how we keep dye from staining our clothes at work, if you spray it on immediately.
It sure is, honey. Better throw 'em away and tell hubby to be more careful and considerate next time he wants to look younger !!!
no hairdye stays in a garment forever
Once dye has dried, it is one of the hardest things to get out. Try using bleach and letting it soak for about 30 minutes. But I've found that it's usually a lost cause.
