The premise of this question is flawed since everyone has the right to a jury trial in most cases.
I would imagine that a judge, who makes a living at being impartial and taking emotion out of decisions, would be much more accurate at reaching the proper verdict.What would happen if more cases were decided by a single judge?
the judge would have too much power and it would upset the checks and balance system
