How many cases are there of a dog being struck by lightning?

I don't think there is a definite answer to this. I believe it is significantly less than that of human cases because they are closer to the ground, and have better senses in order to avoid a lightening strike. Like when they sense the thunder that comes before the strike, therefore lower their bodies even more.

This site is interesting, saying men are more likely to be struck by lightening than women. http://science.nasa.gov/newhome/headline鈥?/a>
