Are there famous cases of the Oracle at Delphi being plain wrong?

All I ever hear about is the seemingly correct prophecies: ';trust in the wooden walls,'; ';Croesus will destroy a great empire,'; etc.

Yet are there any well-known cases of this oracle having been dead wrong? Are there famous cases of the Oracle at Delphi being plain wrong?
I don't think so, the prophecies were so vauge, they could fit to just about anything. Are there famous cases of the Oracle at Delphi being plain wrong?
If a prophecy was thought to be wrong, it was blamed on the interpretation of the prophecy.
By the way, there has been a recent discovery of a volcanic vent exactly where the Oracle would sit. Scientists theorize that the carbon dioxide contributed to the ';hallucinations'; the Oracle had.

There was an article in Scientific American magazine a couple of years ago about it.
