What are the worst cases you have heard for people spoiling their dogs?

I admit I spoil my dog a little bit, but not to the point that he will never eat his dog food, which is a story I've heard too many times to feel any sympathy for now.

Over to you. What are the worst cases you have heard for people spoiling their dogs?
One of the worst things I've seen was a family on ';It's me or the dog';. While the human family ate microwaved dinners, they spent a good hour every evening cooking for their dogs. There was another woman on that show that gave her dogs bowls of tea during the afternoon, and bought ice cream from an ice cream truck and gave them to her dogs. What are the worst cases you have heard for people spoiling their dogs?
I am not too sure what the definition of spoiling is.

If someone loves their pet heaps and treats them like a family member or their child then thats up to them.

I think if a dog is well loved and well behaved and allowed its own room etc then I would give praise to that owner.

If on the other hand the dog was ruling the house and had behavioural problems then I would call that spoilt.

You can never love your dog too much.
People feeding their dogs whenever they give them ';the look';. Then their pet becomes over weight. They are inadvertently killing their pet with kindness.

Also people who let dogs eat off their plate - gross!

Having pet beauty parlours where owners take their dogs or cats to receive haircuts, fur-dyes, manicures, aromatherapy etc is IMO a little too much

ADD: Nancy - I've seen that episode too. They cooked a lamb roast and served it up to their dogs, complete with mint sauce, while they had mircowave lasagne!
Today, we were out of meat for the dogs (except for some stuff that would have taken all day to thaw out), so I went to the local grocery store. The dogs got a rack of ribs, chicken gizzards, and a package of liver. I got a frozen personal pizza that tasted awful and a diet dr. pepper. They eat better than me...
The worst pampered pooch syndromes I know are expressed when people dress their dogs up to look like something else. They look more like clowns. and I think it shows great vanity on the part of the owner, and I feel so sorry for the dogs!

well i saw this one dog on tv where it would not eat dog food it ONLY ate people food but it wouldn't eat on the floor either it would sit on the table and walk around and the people would give the dog food off there fork witch i think is SO nasty loll
Anyone who insists their dog stay on the best while they have sex with their partner, is definitely taking spoiling their dog a step to far!!!

The dogs that have their own rooms and crap :\

I've never understood it.

The couples that weren't able to have kids etc, and then treat their dog literally like it was a kid.
Letting them eat anything they want(including human crap food) and allowing them to get fat, unhealthy, and have shorter lives,is the worst. Quite sad that so many people are spineless.
well letting there dogs eat at the table eating anything they want even chocolate letting them sllep on your bed while having your partner on the couch dressing them up like models DOGS ARE NOT MODELS
Like someone else said, having a dog take up half the bed and push your partner out of the room... not ok whatsoever.
My boyfriend's grandmother feeds her Shih Tzu wet dog food with a fork. He WILL NOT eat unless being fed with the fork.
