What are some ridiculous and interesting court cases in the United States?

I need a case that people don't here these days. For example: the howard stern case.

It could be from any court.

It is for my business law class.

Thank you. What are some ridiculous and interesting court cases in the United States?
when i worked for an insurance company we were reading the files and there was this girl that slipped and fell on a ';rubber band'; in a bank and hit her arm when she fell. i think she got like $20,000.00. i mean come on......a rubber band? lolWhat are some ridiculous and interesting court cases in the United States?
Okay, here's one. Doesn't have much to do with business law, though.

A guy gets drunk at a football stadium. He gets into a huge car accident, and then successfully sues the football beer vendor for 105 million dollars. Here's the link: http://overlawyered.com/2005/01/105-mill鈥?/a>

Now, that just pisses me off.
I'm not sure this ever made it to the courts, but there's this story about a woman who went to play BINGO. She brought her OWN coffee in a Thermos, poured it herself, into her OWN cup, then, on her way back to her seat, SHE spilled some on the floor, and slipped and fell. She sued the BINGO HALL for some ungodly amount of money, and they settled with her! Because it was easier and less expensive than fighting and winning! The premise was that THEY had not cleaned up HER spill quickly enough!

My FAVORITE example of the letigiousness of American Culture!!! Some people will do ANYTHING to get a little money. I don't know if she ever had to work again!
take a look at the suit which FOX ';News'; brought against Al Franken back a few years ago. Franken had written a book using ';Fair and Balanced'; in the title - and FOX ';News'; thought they OWNED ';Fair and Balanced';...

Apparently the entire courtroom was laughing when it was thrown out of court.
I took a criminal justice class where we discussed prison court cases. Many of these were frivolous to the point of being comical. Interesting however, that they went as far as they did in our legal system. Try searching frivolous prison court cases.
Here's a list of 20 of them:

If you need more details, try googling the names involved.
Well, there was the lady who had a baby in a Wal-Mart toilet and cleaned the mess up and left it there. She was found innocent, I heard. Best of Luckk : )

The girl cutting off the guys dick case . . . . The Bobbit case?
The one where that 10 year-old girl sued her parents because they didn't have as nice things as their neighbors. And she won!!!
There's the one about a woman who sued McDonald's because their coffee burned her when she spilled it in her lap... and won.
Virginia Vs. Lorena Bobbitt - her husband raped her so she cut of his penis hahaa
