abortions will happen whether it's legal or not. it's just that when the practice is illegal, would-be mothers run the risk of infection from insterile, shotty operations. plus, if abortion was illegal, think of the increase in dumpster babies and child neglect and abuse when mothers dont want their babies. it's like that couple who used their 7 week old infant as a tug-o-war rope; that baby had broken bones all over its body. so really, its a question of which is the lesser of two evils: aborting the fetus before birth, or neglect, abuse, and suffering later.Legalizing abortion will surely give way to a sharp increase of abortion cases?
Legalizing abortion will not increase number of abortion cases. These cases happen anyway legal or not.
It will probably increase the activity at the legal level in the sense that those who would otherwise go to an illegal and dangerous clinic will come out in the open and do it legally which means that the amount of abortions does not increase so much as the knowledge of those activities.
Murdering babies should be made unlawful all-around. A loving couple can try for years and never have a kid; then here comes this stupid girl who loves to spread her legs and doesn't care whether she gets pregnant or not, so when she does, then she has an abortion. Abortion is murder no matter how much you butter up and make the text all nice and neat. It should be punishable by death.
